Outpatient

Ketcham Memorial offers outpatient therapy for people of all ages. In 2012, Ketcham opened a 4,000 square foot therapy & wellness center and invested in cutting edge therapy technology and exercise equipment for a fuller, faster recovery.

Convenient outpatient therapy is available for a wide range of conditions including:

  • orthopedic
  • fractures
  • sprains & strains
  • Workers Comp injuries
  • arthritis
  • back pain

Physical, occupational and speech therapy are available 7 days a week with flexible appointments to accommodate busy schedules.

Short-Term

Short-Term Rehabilitation is available for those individuals who need additional recovery time after a surgery or hospital stay.

This type of care is designed to provide compassionate care and therapy to seniors recovering from:

  • orthopedic joint replacement
  • fractures
  • stroke
  • heart attack or
  • cardiac surgery
  • and many other conditions

“Looking back before I did therapy, there were days that I could barely get out of bed. I had to take time off from working at the Essen Haus because the pain was unbearable. Therapy has changed my life. The therapists taught me different stretches to do that will help with the pain and now I am able to keep working.
“Dana is the Occupational Therapist at Ketcham Memorial Center. We met several years ago at a rehab center in Evansville. She was an important part of a team that figured out how to modify my car so I could drive. She helped get me a left foot gas pedal and spinner knob on the steering wheel. After running off the road and hitting a tree, Pat Wilson nearly lost his life. Recovery would be a long road and he needed therapy before returning home. Pat Wilson chose Ketcham Memorial Center for short term rehabilitation.
“They’re like family and they took very good care of me. They made me feel at home, they treated me really good and I love them all. The therapists spend a lot of time with you, encourage you and work with you through the whole process. Therapy has changed my life; I graduated from the walker and the cane, now I’m walking on my own. My back and neck are feeling so much better. Between the good Lord and therapy, I am getting back to normal.

Now that I have returned home, I come to Ketcham three days a week for outpatient therapy. I look forward to coming up here, it really helps me. Ketcham even offers transportation to my outpatient appointments. Patty picks me up and takes me home. I don’t know if I would be able to come this often, if Ketcham did not provide the shuttle service. I am just blessed that these therapists know their jobs well and grateful I get to come here.
